Volunteer with Operation Christmas Child

Together with you and the more than 100,000 dedicated volunteers in the U.S., we are able to share the love of Jesus Christ and the joy of Christmas with millions of boys and girls.

Millions of lives are touched by shoebox gifts collected each year. Each precious gift is carefully inspected and prepared for overseas shipment by caring people like you.

Processing Centers are open from the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, through the third week in December.

Biola Youth Theatre's mission is to provide the La Mirada and surrounding Southern California communities with a quality theatre program that incorporates solid theatre training with spiritual principles and truths, led by highly skilled and dedicated professionals in a caring and nurturing environment for children and youth. Doing great theatre for and with God.

We Are Unique. We are a true theatre company, not a high school class or college workshop. One of the few select youth theatre companies in partnership with a university.

One of only two Christian programs in Southern California. Production of 45+ shows since 1996.

Science Classes by Mrs. J

Science education is the field concerned with sharing science content and process. The field of science education includes work in science content, lab and science process (the scientific method). The standards for science education provide expectations for the development of understanding for students through the entire course of their high school education and beyond. Classes included are Physical, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.

Speech & Debate Clubs

Speech and debate is an academic activity typically available to students in middle school, high school, and/or college. Similar to athletic sports, speech and debate activities are challenging, competitive in nature, and require regular practice, coaching, dedication, and hard work.

Speech involves a presentation by one, two, or sometimes a group of students that is judged against a similar type of presentation by others in a round of competition. Speech events range from limited preparation events that require extensive knowledge of current events to dramatic and humorous interpretation, which challenge students to find powerful moments in literature and recreate them for an audience.

Debate involves an individual or a team of debaters working to effectively convince a judge that his or her side of a resolution is, as a general principle, more valid. Students in debate come to thoroughly understand both sides of the resolution, having researched each extensively, and learn to think critically about every argument that could be made on each side.
