Classes & Clubs

The classes and clubs at Agape Academy are brought to our students to achieve several purposes:

Supplement their primary studies that are completed at home
Provide a learning environment that encourages Christ-like behavior and fellowship
Encourages students to put their best foot forward by being sensitive to learning needs, individual learning styles, and individual strengths and gifts
Support the character development in line with Biblical principles taught at home

The final determination on the classes and clubs offered each year is made by the membership of the group. All instruction and activities will be consistent with the Biblical foundation that this group is founded on. In keeping with this conviction, all materials utilized will reflect Biblical truth including but not limited to Creation based sciences.

We believe that it is of the utmost importance to have parents in our group partner in teaching and leading our students as role models of modesty, Christian character, and compassion.

Hi there! My name is Liz Halcomb, and I love inspiring kids to enjoy music! Do you catch your kids humming around the house or drumming on surfaces? It could be that they have an untapped aptitude for music!

I’m a 24 year old homeschooled graduate, and it is my joy to share God’s gift of music with homeschooled students! I have been teaching private piano lessons from my home for 13 years.

My teaching style is based on a traditional approach to note reading, music theory, artistic expression, technique, and performance etiquette.

It is my joy to learn how each student’s brain ticks a little differently, and how to adapt my teaching approach according to each individual student.

Visual Arts

If you have ever wanted to enroll your child in art lessons that are taught by a skilled instructor and affordable, this is your chance. Art Lesson’s by Cindy offers affordable art lessons for students of all ages and skill levels. Mrs. Cindy began her career as an art instructor teaching children from her home as well as participating in the Meet the Masters program. The growing public demand and need for art instruction encouraged Mrs. Cindy to open her own art studio based upon the belief that everybody is entitled to affordable art instruction.

Performing Arts

Miss Lauren Richter is a classically trained ballerina. She is currently a dancer at the Prague State Opera Ballet in Europe and has come home for the summer to teach and share her talents with the children of the O.C. Lauren was trained at the American Ballet Theatre's Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School and the Princesses Grace Academy of Classical Dance in Monte-Carlo. Originally from Mission Viejo, CA were she previously taught/choreographed for home schooled children, and at several studios throughout Orange County.
